About Cascade Senior Services
Cascade Senior Services was founded with a simple purpose: to help older adults and their families navigate aging with confidence, dignity, and compassionate support.
Led by Joe and Marilyn Hillyer, our team understands that caring for an aging loved one can be both rewarding and overwhelming. Through their own family caregiving experiences, Joe and Marilyn saw firsthand how important it is for seniors to have trusted guidance, thoughtful care coordination, and advocates who truly understand their needs.
Cascade Senior Services provides professional geriatric care management and senior care coordination for older adults and their families. We help seniors and their loved ones make informed decisions through personalized care plans, healthcare advocacy, home safety support, long-term care guidance, and ongoing family communication.
Our goal is to promote independence, improve quality of life, and make sure each client receives the right care at the right time.
Meet Our Team
Joe Hillyer
Owner & President
Joe provides the leadership, vision, and commitment behind Cascade Senior Services. A longtime resident of the Western Washington area and a retired Army veteran, Joe brings years of geriatric care management experience and a deep passion for supporting seniors and their families.
His personal caregiving journey, including caring for his parents and family members through Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, hospice needs, and aging-related challenges, shaped his calling to serve older adults. Joe is especially passionate about helping seniors remain as independent as possible while receiving the care, respect, and support they deserve.
Marilyn Hillyer
Owner / Director of Operations
Marilyn oversees the daily operations of Cascade Senior Services and helps ensure every client and family receives dependable, compassionate support. With more than 30 years of healthcare experience, Marilyn brings strong knowledge of senior care needs, client services, staffing, quality assurance, and healthcare operations.
Her background also includes expertise in geriatric care management, medical billing, and healthcare administration. Marilyn is passionate about excellence in client care and is committed to helping seniors and families feel supported, informed, and cared for throughout the aging journey.
Felicia Yelladay
Nurse & Academy Teacher
Felica brings valuable nursing knowledge and educational experience to the Cascade Senior Services team. As both a nurse and an academy teacher, she supports our commitment to informed, compassionate, and high-quality care.
Her role helps strengthen our team’s ability to understand client needs, support care planning, and promote education for families, caregivers, and the senior community.
Anthony Ramirez
Community Outreach Manager
Anthony serves as the Community Coordinator for Cascade Senior Services. He helps connect seniors, families, and community partners with the resources and support they need.
Through outreach, relationship-building, and coordination, Anthony plays an important role in making sure families feel heard, guided, and connected to trusted senior care solutions.
